NY Daily News: “Could Sarah Palin replace Michael Steele as Republican National Committee chairman? Not likely”

The New York Daily News doesn’t think RNC Chair is a good fit for Sarah:

But the reality is this kind of Palin speculation is just fantasy.

“Being RNC chair would put Sarah a step behind in the footrace to beat Glenn Beck at the multimedia money-grubbing grifter game, and I have a feeling she would feel limited in a role as a boring party chairman,” [Joy]Reid writes.

Would Sarah earn less as Chair of the RNC? Only in dollars. On the other hand, she would earn piles and piles of political capital beyond her wildest imagination.

  1. Gary P says:

With all due respect …. How about NO!

This is one of the dumbest ideas ever.

You don’t take the Commander-In-Chief off the battlefield and make them a clerk. There are any number of people who would do well in that job.

Make Mitt Romney RNC Chair. He ain’t doing nothing! Unlike Sarah, he is totally unencumbered by the responsibilities of protecting Freedom and Liberty.

Sarah is leading the fight, she’s our General Washington. Romney is only worried about 2012 and his hair.

Better yet, why not call up Ken Blackwell. He’s the one who should have had the job to start with!
